Path for Women Empowerment, Rights and Sustainability

Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right, but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world. Valuable & Powerful
The project aims to empower young women and youth workers with entrepreneurial competences which favor their personal and professional growth, enhancing their possibility to contribute to the development of the society within which they live. For this reason, partners will develop an educational programme based on non formal education methodology. The programme will be tested with a group of 26 participants from 4 countries (Italy, Portugal, Senegal and Spain). Through this project, partners will produce a toolkit, available online for all the organizations and youth workers interested into the topic. The results of the project will be presented during a final conference which will be organized in Rome.

Thanks to the “POWERS: Path for Women Empowerment, Rights and Sustainability” project, funded by the European Commission, we went to Brattirò, Calabria, to visit the holistic apiary “I Giardini di Aristeo”, one of the very few in Italy.
